The great emblem of the town
The basis of the great emblem of Varnsdorf is a blue baroque shield. On this shield is a silver crescent moon with the points facing upwards, above which lies a silver six-pointed star. On the upper edge of the shield stands a helm (helmet). The helmet is adorned with a knight's crown, with three visible leaf-like projections and five visible pearls. Above the crown is the so-called jewel, which repeats the signs from the shield: a crescent moon and a six-pointed star, with the only difference that on the points of the moon and one point of the star there are three raised ostrich feathers, half blue and half silver, like the rest of the emblem. Around the great emblem the blankets are again in the colours of the great emblem.
