The Tour de Feminin begins, drivers will be restricted. Come on Sunday to support the racers in Varnsdorf
The Tour de Feminin takes place this year from 15th to 18th May. Foreign teams like to return to the north of Bohemia because they have excellent experience with the safety of the course, the attractiveness of the stages and the quality of the starting field. Four days of racing in the beautiful surroundings of Bohemian Switzerland, the Šluknov Upland and the Lusatian Mountains are a great motivation for teams from different parts of the world.
This year, the organizers received twenty-nine entries from teams from thirteen countries, twelve teams belong to the UCI Continental category, and there are four national selections, including the Czech national team. The representation of the Czech teams will be significantly strengthened this year, as in addition to the national squad, Prague Dukla, which has the reigning Czech road race champion Barbora Nemcova in its midst, and the brand new VIF Cycling team, which includes cyclocross champion Kristýna Zemanová and talented Czech cycling hopefuls Štěpánka Dubcová and Eliška Kvasničková (3rd overall in 2023). There are also representatives from Slovenia, Austria and Belgium.
The cyclists will present themselves in Varnsdorf during the final, fourth stage on Sunday 18th May. Fans can support the start of the racers on E. Beneš Square before 10 am. The peloton will go through Národní, Střední, Kmochova streets, then through the roundabout through Pražská, Československých letců streets to Plzeňská street towards Dolní Podluží. The above streets will be completely closed to traffic during the convoy's passage.
Drivers have to take into account the restriction in the whole area during the race. The individual stages of the race, including the exact routes, can be found here.
