Cycle routes
The shortest and least demanding cycling route is the so-called Mandavská marked in blue. The route connects the border crossings to the Federal Republic of Germany between Großschönau and Seifhennersdorf. It runs from the Großschönau border crossing past the Kočka ponds and then along the mostly picturesque corners of the Mandava River through the centre of the town, past the Panorama Cinema to the swimming pool, along the playground by the sports hall and into the town centre - to the little square by the tower and the Information Centre by the town library. It then passes under the square along the ice rink and football stadium in Kotlina, where it connects to the existing cycle path to the Federal Republic of Germany and further to Rumburk behind the Valcha pond. The route is intended for family trips with children. The length of the route is 5 kilometres.
The second route is called Luční and is 5.8 kilometres long. The route leads from the marked cycle path from Dolní Podluží (3015) to the recreational pond Mašíňák with a circular route along the pond dam. Then it goes past the Danish game preserve to Hraniční buk, from where it continues along the forest - meadow path to the Old Railway Station, passing through Karlínská Street to the dairy and to the Kocour Brewery with the possibility of refreshment in the brewery restaurant. From there it is possible to continue the route to the Federal Republic of Germany. The green marked route is more demanding and suitable for more experienced cyclists.
The most demanding of the three routes is the red one - Vyhlídková. It is 8 kilometres long and goes over local hills. The route leads from the Seifhennersdorf border crossing past the Kocour brewery to the town's landmark - the Burgsberg lookout tower. Then along the pedestrian and cycling border crossing at Hrádek, along the cobbled path to the shooting range, where it climbs along the north-eastern edge of the town over the Špičák hill to the cynological complex. From here the route descends to the Gerhus pond system to the Kočka pond, where it joins the blue trail and continues to the Großschönau border crossing. The scenic route is also more demanding and is intended for more experienced cyclists.
The routes are marked by signs on lampposts or traffic signs and are distinguished by colour. There are a total of five large information boards along the routes, which the cyclist can use to orient himself.
